PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation distance maintaining device for transportable gondola capable of reducing work imposed on an operator to attach a gondola to a floating roof in an inner periphery of a pontoon while maintaining a separation distance of a gondola 7 from the inside of the side plate 3 in a horizontal direction when lowering the gondola 7.SOLUTION: A separation distance maintaining device has a pair of telescopic mechanisms 12a and 14a which are provided to a gondola 7 hanged on the inner face of a floating roof tank 1 using a hanging support device 8 and a hanging wire 9. The telescopic mechanisms 12a and 14a are provided with a guide roller 13, 15 respectively at the side which comes into contact with the inner face of the side plate 3. The telescopic mechanisms 12a and 14a are used to ensure the horizontal separation distance between the gondola 7 and the inner face of the side plate 3. The telescopic mechanisms 12a and 14a also include an operation unit 12b, 14b respectively for expanding and contracting the telescopic mechanisms 12a and 14a in the horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
