PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet folding device which allows specific information printed on the contents of an envelope to be visually recognized through a window part even when using an envelope form different from an envelope form to be used.SOLUTION: For example, a sheet folding device is installed in a sealed letter producing apparatus 100 using plural kinds of envelop forms which are different in the position of the window part, a window part position detecting part 20 detects the position of an envelope form PE, and a positional deviation amount X of the window part is calculated using a window part position length LA, which is detected window part position information, and a reference window part position length L, which is reference position information showing the reference position of the window part stored in a storage part 30. When it is determined that a positional deviation is generated in the window part from the calculated positional deviation amount X, a sheet is folded at the folding position where specific information can be visually recognized through the window part by considering the positional deviation amount X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
