PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device which do not give an operator vexation while reducing possibility of collision with an obstruction in re-departure during automatic operation.SOLUTION: A control device 100a detects obstruction, stops own vehicle and takes off again after the stopping in automatic operation performing a steerage control and speed control to move own vehicle along a target route supposed in advance. A re-departure determination unit 5 selecting either of hand-operated re-departure that takes off own vehicle again by operating a re-departure acknowledge button 108 and inputting re-departure indication, or automatic re-departure that takes off own vehicle again without input of the re-departure indication, is comprised.
