PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device which can reduce the rates of power supplied to a load, and can supply power to the load even when the power from a commercial power supply is interrupted, and to provide an image forming apparatus and a power supply system.SOLUTION: A power supply device 1 has a storage battery 3 that can store the power from a commercial power supply 1a, and the storage battery 3 can generate power when a fuel metal (e.g., zinc) is added. The power supply device 1 specifies the power to be supplied to an image forming apparatus 2, depending on the rates of power from the commercial power supply 1a, the rates of power accumulated in the storage battery 3, operational state of the image forming apparatus 2, and the like, before being supplied. The power supply device 1 specifies the power (power output value) from the commercial power supply 1a, and the power (power output value) from the storage battery 3, in the power supplied to the image forming apparatus 2, and supplies power from the commercial power supply 1a, and power from the storage battery 3, with respective output values to the image forming apparatus 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
