A system for transporting and installing a preventer valve in a drilling equipment formed by at least a drilling tower located over a drilling well which has a mast; and a drilling substructure which has two vertical lateral bases in a parallel relationship, which are attached in their upper end portion by a ground leveller which includes support beams in its lower portion; where the drilling substructure is able to support, in the support beams of the ground leveller, an overhead crane, this latter device being mountable and dismountable from the drilling structure which allows a preventer valve to be installed over the drilling well.
