PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater acoustic wave propagation prediction device capable of suppressing a computational complexity while maintaining calculation accuracy of acoustic ray calculation.SOLUTION: An underwater acoustic wave propagation prediction device 1 predicting a detection area of a sonar, comprises: detection condition setting means 21 setting detection conditions for the detection area; and acoustic ray radiation angle setting means 23 setting a radiation angle of an acoustic ray on the basis of the detection conditions set by the detection condition setting means 21, and the acoustic ray radiation angle setting means 23 increases the radiation angle so that a density of the acoustic ray decreases as boom hoisting angle increases relatively to an acoustic ray reference at a time of setting the radiation angle of the acoustic ray.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
