PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste for a multilayer ceramic capacitor internal electrode, by which the quantity of an organic solvent remaining in a dried film of a paste for an internal electrode can be reduced.SOLUTION: A paste for a multilayer ceramic capacitor internal electrode comprises: nickel powder; polyvinyl butyral; ethyl cellulose; and an organic solvent. The organic solvent contains a first organic solvent and a second organic solvent; the content of the first organic solvent in the organic solvent is between 20 and 80 wt%. The first organic solvent contains terpineol and/or isobornyl acetate. The second organic solvent contains saturated aliphatic based carbon hydride solvent and/or ethylene glycol monobutyl ether acetate.SELECTED DRAWING: None
