According to the present invention, an IC card includes a first reception processing unit, a first transmission processing unit, a second reception processing unit, a second transmission processing unit, a third reception processing unit, and a third transmission processing unit. The IC card can be used to efficiently transmit and receive data even when a communication error occurs. The first reception processing unit receives a first command requiring data. The first transmission processing unit transmits a first response including the data. The second reception processing unit receives a second command requiring retransmission of the data. A generation unit generates a detail storage inspection code including a storage inspection code of each divided block in a predetermined length when the second reception processing unit receives the second command. The second transmission processing unit transmits a second response including the detail storage inspection code generated by the generation unit. The third reception processing unit receives a third command requiring an error division block of the data. The third transmission processing unit transmits a third response including the divided block corresponding to the error division block. |
