PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alpha-ray observation device and an alpha-ray observation method with which it is possible to accurately evaluate a signal derived from an alpha ray.SOLUTION: The alpha-ray observation device according to an embodiment comprises a device enclosure 10, an entrance window 2, light-condensation means 3, optical path change means 4, and a first optical detector 5. The device enclosure 10 is provided with an opening, the entrance window 2 being provided in this opening and also capable of shielding a beta ray. The luminescence derived from the alpha ray generated from an object to be measured that is set on the outside of the device enclosure 10 enters the inside of the device enclosure 10 from the entrance window 2 while being shielded of a beta ray, and is condensed by the light-condensation means 3 and, after having an optical path thereof changed by the optical path change means, detected by the first optical detector 5. The first optical detector 5 outputs a signal that corresponds to the luminous energy of the detected luminescence.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
