PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic paper folding device which can be down-sized, can be manufactured at a low cost and can be retrofitted to other device.SOLUTION: An automatic paper folding device 60 includes: a guide 60a which flexes a rectangular paper transported on a transportation path in the state of being convexed in a transportation direction; an actuator 60b which is fixed to the guide 60a and is so rotatable that one end thereof projects above the transportation path; a bending part 60d which pressure-welds and bends the paper which is transported along the transportation path and is flexed in the convexed state; and a control part 60c which controls rotation of the actuator. The control part 60c so rotates the actuator 60b that the guide 60a is saved from the transportation path, according to the fact such that the paper becomes the state of closely adhering or substantially closely adhering along a shape of an inner side of the guide 60a in association with transportation thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16 |
