摘要 The present invention relates to a target position tracing system for a private soldier by using 3D vector expression method-based electronic compass, and to an operation method thereof. The system comprises: a sensor unit for measuring an azimuthal angle of the target; a plurality of information inputting devices equipped with a sensor signal processing unit for deducing target position information by processing the measured azimuthal angle; and a plurality of information processors equipped with an information calculation unit for calculating the target position from GPS information of the information inputting devices and the target position information deduced from the information inputting devices. Provided are: a target position tracing system for a private soldier by using 3D vector expression method-based electronic compass, having effects in reducing the price and operation costs, by using a low-priced geomagnetic sensor and an inertial sensor, and having a relatively simple structure; and an operation method thereof.
