The present invention relates to a secondary battery electrolyte and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same. A lithium secondary battery applying a secondary battery electrolyte of the present invention has excellent output properties and life properties at room temperature and high temperature. The electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery comprises a lithium salt; a non-aqueous organic solvent; and 1,3-dithiol-2-thione derivative represented by chemical formula 1.
