The present invention relates to a Ni-based alloy coated arc welding rod which uses a pure Ni core. The provided Ni-based alloy coated arc welding rod has excellent economic feasibility; enables a construction to have high efficiency; and obtains welding metal which has not only excellent mechanical properties, but also a low occurrence of porosity defects. As a means to resolve this, the Ni-based alloy coated arc welding rod coated with a covering material on a core comprises: the core which contains a predetermined amount of Mg, Si, Mn, [P+S], C per whole weight of the core, and includes remnants formed with Ni and inevitable impurities; and the covering material which contains a predetermined amount of oxide of alkali metal, a slag former, an F conversion value of metal fluoride, a CO_2 amount conversion value of metal carbonate, [Ti+Al+Mg], Si, and [Mn+Cr+Mo+Nb+Ta+W+Ni+Co+Fe] per whole weight of the Ni-based alloy coated arc welding rod, remnants formed with inevitable impurities, and keeps a rate of coverage of the covering material within a predetermined range. |
