The present invention relates to a mechanical pencil which is one of writing supplies and, more specifically, relates to a mechanical pencil, wherein a predetermined space is formed between a mechanical pencil lead cartridge and a mechanical pencil container, and the whole mechanical pencil lead cartridge can be vertically moved. Therefore, a mechanical pencil lead protruding to a lower end of the mechanical pencil can be moved left and right, and back and forth to perform a buffering function when being applied with an external force for the mechanical pencil lead not to be broken well. Moreover, when the mechanical pencil is not used, the mechanical pencil lead and a guide pipe are stored inside a cap for the mechanical pencil to be very safely carried. |
