An imaging apparatus functioning as a master when performing interval photographing synchronized by a plurality of imaging apparatuses: measures photographing intervals from the interval photographing; sequentially generates photographing instruction signals at the measured photographing intervals; instructs its own imaging unit to perform photographing every time the photographing instruction signal is generated; and transmits the photographing instruction signal to the other imaging apparatus functioning as a slave. The imaging apparatus functioning as a slave instructs its own imaging means to perform photographing every time the photographing instruction signal is received from the imaging apparatus functioning as a master. |
