PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide USB cable that functions as an antenna at a desired frequency band without separately providing an antenna line and achieves power saving.SOLUTION: USB cable includes: a broadcast-wave reception antenna; an amplifier 5 for amplifying a signal from the broadcast-wave reception antenna; a signal transmission unit for transmitting an output signal from an output terminal 401 in the amplifier 5 to a communication terminal; and a signal path switching mechanism A capable of switching between a first signal path for supplying the signal from the broadcast-wave reception antenna to the amplifier 5, and a second signal path for supplying the signal from the broadcast-wave reception antenna to the output terminal 401 in the amplifier 5.
