PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an electronic element from being damaged due to expansion of internal air during a heat treatment process, and also, after having been mounted, preventing outgas from entering thereby to prevent an electronic element from being deteriorated.SOLUTION: A protection element 10 includes: an insulating substrate 11; an electrode 12 disposed on at least one surface of the insulating substrate 11; a fusible conductor 13 disposed on the electrode 12; and a cover member 19 having an internal space and a vent hole 19a on the top surface thereof, and covering the fusible conductor 13. The protection element 10 specifically includes a stress relaxation member 21 disposed on the top surface of the cover member 19 so as to cover the vent hole 19a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
