PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaving device capable of improving yield rate.SOLUTION: A cleaving device 10 comprises a holding tool 12 which includes a first anvil member 21 having a pair of projections 23a, 23b and a second anvil member 22 having a pair of projections 25a, 25b. A gap between the respective projections 23a, 23b of the first anvil member 21 is formed narrower than a gap between the respective projections 25a, 25b of the second anvil member 22. The respective projections 23a, 23b of the first anvil member 21 and a pusher 13 are used to cut off a lug from a glass plate 11, and the respective projections 25a, 25b of the second anvil member 22 and the pusher 13 are used to cut off a cleaved piece which becomes a product.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
