PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic operation assist system, an automatic operation assist method, and a computer program in which drawbacks to a user such as a significant delay in arriving at a destination are prevented.SOLUTION: The present invention is configured so as to: acquire the scheduled traveling route of a vehicle that includes an automatic operation section in which the automatic operation control of the vehicle is exercised; set an automatic operation execution section that is a section in the scheduled traveling route where the automatic operation control is exercised; predict an expected time of arrival at which the vehicle arrives at the start point of the automatic operation execution section; and advise a user of each of the start point of the automatic operation execution section and the expected time of arrival of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
