PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device capable of suppressing the occurrence of flickering while maintaining a display image resolution.SOLUTION: A head-up display device causes a viewer to recognize a virtual image by projecting a display image onto a translucent member. The HUD device comprises: a light emission unit emitting a bundle of light rays serving as the display image; a screen 40 transmitting the bundle of light rays emitted from the light emission unit and displaying thereon the display image; and a reflection unit reflecting light representing the display image displayed on the screen 40 toward the translucent member. The screen 40 includes a beam splitter 42 splitting the display image displayed on the screen 40 into a plurality of bundles of light rays, emitting the split bundles of light rays, and emitting at least one bundle of light rays of the plurality of bundles of light rays at an angle different from an angle of the incident bundle of light rays; and a microlens array 41 regularly diffusing the incident bundle of light rays by a diffraction effect and emitting the incident bundle of light rays.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
