PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a flocculation state of floc and a device for evaluating the flocculation state of the floc capable of evaluating a flocculation state of the floc in test water containing the floc irrespective of water quality of the test water.SOLUTION: A method for evaluating a flocculation state of floc includes a moving speed measurement process, a dispersion value calculation process and an evaluation process. The moving speed measurement process is such a process that an anode and a cathode are arranged in test water containing the floc and a voltage is applied to the test water to measure moving speeds of a plurality of floc at every floc. The dispersion value calculation process is such a process that a first mark is given when a vector of the moving speed of each floc contains a component of an anode direction, a second mark is given when the vector of moving speed of each floc contains a component of a cathode direction and moving speeds of the first mark and moving speeds of the second mark are respectively totalized at every prescribed extent to calculate a dispersion value on a moving speed distribution of the plurality of floc. The evaluation process is such a process that the quality of the flocculation state of the floc is evaluated based on the dispersion value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
