PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant having a sufficiently high traction coefficient and a low flow point at high temperature.SOLUTION: The lubricant contains (A) a hydride of a bicyclo-hydrocarbon compound dimer and (B) a naphthenic saturated hydrocarbon compound. When the traction coefficient of the (A) component is defined as μwhen measured alone at 100°C and that of a mixture of the (A) component with (B) component is defined as μwhen measured at 100°C, the (A) component and the (B) component are blended so that the μ improvement degree calculated by the expression: (the μ improvement degree)=(μ-μ)×1,000 becomes 3 or larger.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
