SEMICONDUCTOR LASER RESONATOR AND SEMICONDUCTOR LASER DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

Disclosed are a semiconductor laser resonator, which generates laser beam by absorbing energy from the outside, and a semiconductor laser device including the same. The disclosed semiconductor laser resonator capable of selecting or separating a resonance mode comprises a gain medium layer. The gain medium layer includes semiconductor materials, and includes a central portion, and a plurality of protrusions which are protruded from and disposed along the outer portion of the central portion in a periodic structure. Herein, the laser beam is confined in at least one of the protrusions as a standing wave.
