PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption of a reading device.SOLUTION: A control section of a reading device, on the basis of a signal outputted from a sensor, detects a predetermined state generated when a script to be read by a reading section is supported by a support section. Furthermore, the control section, when a first interface control section for controlling a first interface to connect a first external device to be a storage destination of image data is in a power saving state, sets the first interface control section to a reference state when a shift condition including detection of a predetermined state is satisfied, and maintains the first interface control section to be in the power saving state even when receiving a first operation to an operation section when the shift condition is not satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
