PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress sulfation appropriately, in a power unit of a vehicle including a power storage device in addition to a lead battery.SOLUTION: A power unit 1 of a vehicle includes a motor generator 2, a nickel hydrogen battery 21, a motor generator 2 and a lead battery 11 that can be connected with and disconnected from the nickel hydrogen battery 21. The nickel hydrogen battery 21 can be charged at a voltage higher than the upper limit voltage of the lead battery 11. When the lead battery 11 is interrupted from the motor generator 2 and nickel hydrogen battery 21, the power unit 1 connects the lead battery 11 with the motor generator 2 and nickel hydrogen battery 21, depending on the voltage of the lead battery 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
