PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of easily disposing of accumulated liquid.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes a vacuum cleaner body 1 having a dust collection case 11 detachably attached to a body case 2, a suction port 10 provided to the dust collection case 11, and gas-liquid separating means 21 for separating a gas-liquid mixture sucked from the suction port 10 into gas and liquid. A liquid tank 9 for storing sucked liquid is detachably provided to the vacuum cleaner body 1. Thereby, the liquid accumulated in the liquid tank 9 can be disposed of without removing the dust collection case 11 from the body case 2, and water storage performance is improved as well. The gas-liquid separating means includes a wall part 22 with which the gas-liquid mixture sucked from the suction port 10 collides, and filter means 24 having an air-intake 23. Since the wall part 22 covers the air-intake 23, the contained liquid falls along the wall part 22 when the gas-liquid mixture collides with the wall part 22 that covers the air-intake 23, and is accumulated in the liquid tank 9.
