PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device capable of preventing a reduction of rotational accuracy by incorporating an angular ball bearing in a housing while less reducing the preload or less increasing a clearance therebetween.SOLUTION: A bearing device 1 includes an angular ball bearing 10 having an outer ring member 20 formed with an outer ring raceway 21, an inner ring member 30 formed with an inner ring raceway 31, and a plurality of balls 40 for rolling between the outer ring raceway 21 and the inner ring raceway 31, and a housing 60 having a pair of outer ring pressing faces 64, 67 diameter-contracted from both ends of the inner periphery inward in the radial direction, the inner ring member 30 of the angular ball bearing 10 being fixed to a shaft member 80, the outer ring member 20 being clearance-fitted into an outer ring fitting face 63 of the housing 60, the outer ring member 20 having a side face 25 pressed by the pair of outer ring pressing faces 64, 67 and fixed to the housing 60. It has large-diameter contact means whose contact pressure between at least one of the pair of outer ring pressing faces 64, 67 and the side face 25 is maximum at the end on the outer diameter side of the side face 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
