PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve responsiveness at a time of accelerating a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 10 including a camera unit 41 for detecting a running state of a preceding vehicle, comprises: a re-acceleration determination unit for determining whether the preceding vehicle is in a re-accelerated state of accelerating the preceding vehicle after being decelerated on the basis of the running state of the preceding vehicle; and a rotation control unit for keeping a rotating speed of an engine 12 to be equal to or higher than a lower limit value if the re-acceleration determination unit determines that the preceding vehicle is in the re-accelerated state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
