PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce computational complexity while maintaining detection accuracy when detecting a motion vector.SOLUTION: An image processing system includes: contrast value calculation means 11 by which any one of a plurality of inputted images is defined as a reference image and a contrast value is calculated for each predetermined processing region around a pixel of interest at least in the reference image; bit length determination means 12 which determines a bit length shorter than a bit length in calculating the contrast value on the basis of the contrast value as a bit length in calculating a motion vector with respect to the pixel of interest between a plurality of images; quantization means 13 by which the processing region and a region corresponding to the processing region in the plurality of images are converted into the bit length determined by the bit length determination means; and motion vector calculation means 14 for calculating the motion vector between the plurality of images with respect to the pixel of interest regarding the processing region of which the bit length is converted by the quantization means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
