PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of eliminating the rattling of a slide part with respect to a suction pipe by a simple configuration while reducing an air passage resistance by shortening the length of a suction tube hose.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner 1 in which an electric blower and a dust collection pack for capturing dust sucked by the electric blower are housed in a body case 10, and a suction hose 20 for guiding the dust to the dust collection pack is connected to the body case 10 includes: a suction pipe 30 in which a suction head 50 is connected to the tip side, and the suction hose 20 is connected to the rear end side; a handle part 40 attached slidably along the longitudinal direction of the suction pipe 30, whose interval with the suction head 50 can be adjusted so as to be expanded or contracted; and a sliding guide mechanism 48 composed of an engagement convex part 47 for slidably guiding the handle part 40 with respect to the suction pipe 30, and an engagement concave part 34 that engages with the engagement convex part 47.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
