PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device or the like capable of reducing an operational burden of a user with respect to call origination, that utilizes a telephone directory function, to a different country.SOLUTION: A portable terminal is a SIM-free terminal to which an USIM is mounted in a removable manner. The portable terminal includes an extraction section, a telephone directory DB and a control section. The extraction section extracts a country code from the USIM in response to mounting of the USIM. The telephone directory DB includes a present specification country group storing a telephone number for each destination in a specification country of the USIM being mounted, and a country code group storing a telephone number for each destination for each country code. If a call originating operation corresponding to a telephone number being stored in the telephone number DB is detected, in the case where a country code of the telephone number of the call originating operation is different from the country code of the USIM, the call origination control section adds a country code stored in a country code group relating to the telephone number of the call originating operation to the telephone number and originates a call.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
