PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and an air conditioner that can shield part of a plurality of indication lamps and expose indication lamps other than the shielded lamps.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus 1 constitutes a part of an apparatus 100 and communicates with another apparatus 400. The communication apparatus 1 comprises: a case 8 having an opening 71; a plurality of indication lamps 12 accommodated in the case 8 at a position corresponding to the opening 71; and an indication-lamp cover 6 that is slidably installed along the direction where the plurality of indication lamps 12 are lined up, and adjusts the aperture of the opening 71.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
