PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic recovery breaker for determining the propriety of automatic recovery by determining a cause of a breaker's trip such as short circuit after leakage and a lightning surge.SOLUTION: An automatic recovery breaker comprises: (1) a breaker main body capable of cutting off current between a power line network on the primary side and a load apparatus on the secondary side; (2) a breaker drive unit for receiving a breaker automatic recovery signal to drive a lever of the breaker main body, when the breaker main body is cut off; (3) an independent leakage current sensor; (4) an independent lightning surge current sensor; (5) an independent current sensor for concurrently detecting overcurrent and short circuit current; and (6) an input/output data processing unit that receives, as input, current measurement data from each sensor, determines a breaker cut-off factor from the magnitude of current or a current waveform to determine the propriety of automatic recovery of the breaker main body, and outputs a breaker automatic recovery signal when the breaker main body is cut off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
