PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-temperature superconductive thin-film wire rod which allows manufacture of a cable and a coil, while suppressing deterioration of superconductive characteristics sufficiently, even when winding the wire rod around a substrate with protrusions, in manufacturing a cable or a coil.SOLUTION: In a high-temperature superconductive thin-film wire rod, an oxide superconductive layer reduced at least in tensile strain is formed on a flexible tape-like metal substrate, and the side of the oxide superconductive layer is arch-shaped so as to be convex in the width direction. The metal substrate has an intermediate layer on a metal tape, and the intermediate layer is biaxially oriented at least in the surface. The oxide superconductive layer is composed of a RE123-based oxide superconductive material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
