PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a hybrid vehicle capable of performing power generation upon vehicle stopping at a rotation number higher than a resonance rotation number and capable of preventing vibration (rattling sound) from being generated during the power generation upon vehicle stopping.SOLUTION: When a vehicle 1 is turned to a stopping state, a clutch 5 is cut and speed is changed to a shift stage for power generation upon vehicle stopping. A rotation number of an engine 2 is elevated from an idle speed upon vehicle stopping to a first rotation number for performing the power generation upon vehicle stopping and a rotation number of a motor generator 3 is elevated to a second target rotation number corresponding to the first target rotation number. After the rotation number of the engine 2 is elevated to the first target rotation number and a rotation number of a motor generator 3 is elevated to the second target rotation number, the clutch 5 is connected and power transmission from the engine 2 to the motor generator 3 is permitted. It is set that the idle speed upon vehicle stopping of the engine 2 is lower than a resonance rotation number and the first target rotation number is higher than the resonance rotation number peculiar to a vehicle of the vehicle 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
