The present invention relates to a water treating device and a method for the same. The water treating device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a touch sensing unit for sensing a touch of a user; a touch information calculating unit for calculating coordinate information of the touch and area information; and a control unit for discharging pure water, warm water, or cool water according to the coordinate information, and generating and outputting a control signal for adjusting a discharged amount according to the area information. |
