The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for preparing a composite odor adsorbent in a granule form. The composite odor adsorbent has an excellent effect for adsorbing and removing basic gas such as ammonia and trimethylamine and acidic gas such as hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan, which are generated by food waste and cause odor. The composite odor adsorbent can be formed in the form of uniform and high-density granules through a shaping apparatus. Continuous shaping of the composite odor adsorbent can be possible, and thus large amount thereof can be manufactured. The surface of granules having fine powder thereon can be dried in a drying and firing apparatus, and the fine powder is removed from the granules in order to prevent the granules from being damaged and prevent a screen from being clogged. The granules without the fine powder are fired to eliminate the rotation resistance of the fine powder and enhance the product quality while saving energy by the efficient firing process.
