摘要 Disclosed are a method for producing a positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, and a lithium secondary battery including a positive electrode active material produced thereby. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a method for producing a positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, which comprises the following steps: preparing a salt solution including zirconium (Zr) as a coating solution; producing precursor slurry by mixing the coating solution with a core including lithium manganese oxide; adjusting acidity (pH) of the precursor slurry by feeding an acid solution in the precursor slurry; obtaining a co-precipitation compound by adding a fluoride compound solution in the acid precursor slurry; and sequentially filtering, drying, and heating the co-precipitation compound.
