PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication card including a forgery prevention structure and an authentication system.SOLUTION: The authentication card includes: a card body; and a light emitting element disposed on the card body. The light emitting element includes: a photoluminescent layer that emits a beam of light which includes a first light with a wavelength of λa in the air; a translucent layer which is disposed close to the photoluminescent layer; and a surface structure which is formed on at least one surface of the photoluminescent layer and the translucent layer, and includes at least one of plural convex portions and plural concave portions. The surface structure regulates the directivity angle of the first light with the wavelength of λa in the air emitted from the photoluminescent layer, and maximizes the intensity of the first light in a predetermined first direction in at least one of the plural convex portions and the plural concave portions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 35A
