PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral drug delivery system with a pharmaceutical composition of gas generating microspheres/nanospheres or effervescent agents for enhancing release of hydrophilic macromolecule drugs, such as proteins, peptides, polysaccharides and nucleic acids, in the small intestine tract of an animal subject.SOLUTION: The invention discloses an enteric-coated capsule encapsulating a pharmaceutical composition comprising a gas generating agent, a compound that causes the gas generating agent to generate gas upon hydrolysis, optionally excipients, and at least a bioactive agent, for oral delivery in an animal subject.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
