Provided is a charger suitable for an electrically driven pipette that improves freedom of installation and extensibility. A charger (1) has: a pipette receiving unit (11); right and left arms (12, 13) extending forward from the pipette receiving unit (11); a charging electrode (18) for contacting a pipette side electrode (102) exposed to the outside of an electrically powered pipette (100) and charging a battery (103) for the electrically powered pipette (100); a power supply receiving port (16); and preferably a power supply relay port (17). The back surface (11b) of the pipette receiving unit is made into a vertical surface, and this surface is made into an affixing unit (14).
