The present invention relates to a tripod type constant velocity joint which has an upper and lower roller tracks on a groove, which is the interior of a housing, wherein upper and lower spherical rollers are installed on a spider to slide on the upper and lower roller tracks. The tripod type constant velocity joint comprises: a housing which transmits rotational power of an engine (not illustrated), has a groove therein, and has a roller track and a roller track protrusion; a shaft which rotates by receiving the rotational power from the housing; a spider which is connected to an end of the shaft and installed in the housing to connect the housing and the shaft; a spherical roller which is mounted on the spider and slides on the roller track of the housing; and a retainer ring which prevents separation of the spider from the shaft. |
