The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for manufacturing carbon nanotube fibers, wherein the carbon nanotube fibers having enhanced interfacial bonding force between the carbon nanotubes using plasma discharge are manufactured, and carbon nanotube fibers having enhanced strength manufactured thereby, and more specifically, to an apparatus and a method for manufacturing carbon nanotube fibers by using plasma discharge, and carbon nanotube fibers having high strength manufactured thereby, wherein the apparatus comprises: a carbon nanotube fiber supply part; a plasma discharger enhancing bonding force on each interface between the carbon nanotubes forming the carbon nanotube fiber; and a carbon nanotube fiber winding part winding the carbon nanotube fiber having interfacial bonding force between the carbon nanotubes enhanced by the plasma discharger. |
