The present invention relates to an ultrasonic waves detecting apparatus for detecting degraded components in an overhead distribution line, which can effectively detect degraded components in an overhead distribution line, such as insulator defects, device defects, connector defects, from the ground without climbing up an electric pole. According to the present invention, ultrasonic waves detection for figuring out whether there is any defect within an electric equipment on the electric pole, and classifying the type of defect, can be conducted using a single detection device, and by adjusting the distance from an area to be checked, both ultrasonic waves detection in a predetermined area including multiple electric equipment, and ultrasonic waves detection in a specific electric equipment are possible, and aiming and adjustment of area to be checked can be performed conveniently. |
