The present invention relates to an intravascular ultrasound device. More specifically, the intravascular ultrasound device comprises: an ultrasound transmission/reception unit for transmitting and receiving an ultrasound signal with a blood vessel; a pulse generation unit for generating a pulse current; an ultrasonic oscillator for performing interconversion between an electrical signal and an ultrasound signal for the ultrasound transmission/reception unit to carry out transmission and reception; a signal conversion unit in which a shock wave oscillator is arranged, for receiving the pulse current of the pulse generation unit to generate a shock wave signal; and an image processing unit for converting the electrical signal converted by the ultrasonic oscillator into an image signal to form an ultrasound image of the blood vessel. The intravascular ultrasound device diagnoses a lesion of the blood vessel by the ultrasound image of the image processing unit and, at the same time, irradiates the lesion with the shock wave signal generated from the shock wave oscillator and removes the lesion, thereby enabling the diagnosis of vascular lesions and the removal of lesions to be effectively performed in a single device at the same time.
