Provided is a wave power generator capable of adjusting the natural period (natural vibration frequency) corresponding to the changing wave period. This wave power generator (1) is provided with a weight (3) which, attached to the inside of a floating body (2) by a spring (4), moves in reciprocating linear motion in response to fluctuation of the water surface (7), and a generator (8) which generates electricity when driven by the reciprocating linear motion of the weight (3). Also provided is an added mass body (6) for adding additional mass to the mass of the weight (3).
