PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide salts of kukoamine B for use in preparation of drugs for preventing and treating pyemia and pharmaceutical compositions containing salts of kukoamine B.SOLUTION: Use of salts of kukoamine B in preparation of drugs for preventing and treating pyemia is provided, the kukoamine B is separated from a crude drug "Lycii Radicis Cortex," a dried root cortex of Lycium chinensis, a solanaceous plant, the chemical structure of the salt being represented by the following formula.
