PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm whether or not a receiver can receive a notice broadcast appropriately from a transmitter without increasing the installation cost of a broadcast system.SOLUTION: In a notice broadcast system 1 including a transmitter 70 for transmitting a notice broadcast signal, and a receiver 20 for receiving the notice broadcast signal, and outputting the notice broadcast, the transmitter 70 includes a signal generation 75a for generating a notice broadcast signal including the information for specifying to perform maintenance broadcast, or a notice broadcast signal not including the information for specifying to perform maintenance broadcast, and a transmission unit 73 for transmitting the notice broadcast signal thus generated.
