PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operation speed of a circuit.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises: a first transistor; a second transistor which has a first terminal connected to a gate of the first transistor and has a function of setting potential of the gate of the first transistor at a value to turn on the first transistor; a third transistor which has a function of setting potential of a gate of the second transistor at a value to turn on the second transistor and making the gate of the second transistor be in a floating state; and a fourth transistor which has a function of setting potential of the gate of the second transistor at a value to turn off the second transistor. With this configuration, a potential difference between the gate and a source of the second transistor can be maintained at a value larger than a threshold voltage of the second transistor and an operation speed can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
