This method for producing a composition containing purified chlorogenic acids has: a first step for dispersing or dissolving a composition containing chlorogenic acids as a raw material in an organic solvent aqueous solution; a second step for removing precipitates from the dispersion liquid or the dissolution liquid obtained by the first step; and a third step for bringing the solution obtained by the second step into contact with activated carbon including activated carbon (A) having a pore volume of 0.3 to 1.0 mL/g and activated carbon (B) having a larger pore volume than the activated carbon (A). The difference [(B) - (A)] in pore volume between the activated carbon (A) and the activated carbon (B) is 0.1 to 1.5 mL/g.
